2. What we collect
- Conversation content — Messages you send are processed in real time to generate responses. Conversations are not permanently stored on our servers and are not linked to your identity unless you create an account.
- Payment information — Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Basic usage data — Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring.
- Email address — Only if you sign up or contact support.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the service
- To process payments via Stripe
- To respond to support requests
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
4. AI processing
Conversations are processed by Anthropic (Claude AI) to generate responses. Your messages are sent to Anthropic's API in real time. Anthropic's data usage policies apply — they do not use API inputs to train their models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy.
5. Safety exception
If a conversation contains content that suggests imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or describes illegal activity, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, which may include contacting relevant authorities. This is the only circumstance under which conversation content may be disclosed.
6. Data retention
Conversation data is not retained beyond the active session. Payment records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years for financial records).
7. Your rights
You may request deletion of any personal data we hold (email address, payment records) by contacting us at support@speakwith.app. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only (session management, payment processing). No third-party tracking cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
